MARKETING THAT FEELS AUTHENTIC
A grounded, therapist-aligned approach to visibility that helps you attract the right clients without feeling salesy, overwhelmed, or without integrity.
Grow your private practice with clarity, confidence, and a voice that feels like your own. Learn how to show up online and in your community in a way that honors your nervous system, protects your boundaries, and still builds the steady, aligned caseload you’ve been working toward.
Whether you prefer to start today with the evergreen version or join the first live cohort beginning July 13th, you’ll learn how to build visibility that feels ethical, sustainable, and true to who you are as a clinician.
What You’ll Learn
Inside Marketing That Feels Authentic, you’ll learn a clear and grounded approach to marketing that honors your clinical identity instead of competing with it. Instead of trying to sound like an influencer, entertainer, or social media expert, you’ll understand how to communicate your work in a way that feels natural, regulated, and aligned with your values.
You’ll learn how to talk about your practice without oversharing, overthinking, or feeling like you’re crossing ethical boundaries. You’ll gain clarity around where your ideal clients actually are and how to show up in those spaces without burning out or forcing yourself into strategies that drain you. You’ll finally understand the deeper psychology behind why clients choose a therapist—and how to speak to their needs without pressure, manipulation, or gimmicks.
You’ll learn how to build trust through consistent, ethical visibility and how to create a marketing rhythm that feels sustainable instead of frantic. You’ll gain language, confidence, and a grounded presence that allows clients to feel connected to you from the start.
By the end of the course, you’ll know how to market like a therapist—with steadiness, authenticity, and clarity—instead of feeling like you’re performing a version of yourself that doesn’t fit.
What’s Included
Marketing That Feels Authentic gives you a complete, therapist-centered system for building visibility in a way that feels grounded and aligned. The guided lesson walks you through the deeper “why” behind effective therapist marketing, helping you understand what to share, how to share it, and how to communicate with clarity without compromising ethics or clinical boundaries.
You’ll receive a thoughtfully designed worksheet to help you map out your message, understand your ideal client’s journey, and create a sustainable visibility plan that supports your capacity. This structure helps you break out of avoidance, perfectionism, and overwhelm by giving you one clear place to organize your ideas, track your presence, and develop language that feels like your own.
With the evergreen version, you’ll get immediate access so you can begin right away, move at your own pace, and revisit the material as often as you need. For therapists who want deeper guidance, real-time feedback, or support working through visibility fears, the July 13th cohort offers a live, supportive experience where you can practice your voice, refine your messaging, and receive personalized coaching.
And if you prefer a more individualized approach, one-on-one coaching is available anytime. Coaching allows you to refine your messaging with direct guidance, ask specific questions, and build your marketing presence with support tailored to your personality, your practice, and your goals.
THE REAL PROBLEM
Most therapists don’t struggle with marketing because they’re shy, inexperienced, or “bad at promoting themselves.” They struggle because traditional marketing is fundamentally misaligned with the role of a therapist.
You were trained to center others, to hold boundaries, and to create emotional safety — not to step forward, share your voice, or become visible. Then, once you entered private practice, the expectation flipped. Suddenly you were told to “put yourself out there,” “show up online,” and “post consistently,” but no one ever showed you how to do that ethically, safely, or in a way that felt natural to your nervous system.
The real issue isn’t that you don’t know how to market.
It’s that you were never taught a therapist-aligned way to do it.
So instead, you’ve been trying to piece things together on your own — following advice that feels too salesy, ignoring strategies that feel too loud, and getting stuck in cycles of avoidance because every tip you find seems designed for influencers, not clinicians.
This creates doubt, fear, and overwhelm. You feel unsure about what to say, nervous about being visible, and uncertain about where to show up. Every time you go to write content or update your website, you feel a tug between being professional and being yourself.
It’s not that you’re doing anything wrong.
It’s that you were handed the responsibility of visibility without any path to follow.
Marketing That Feels Authentic gives you the missing structure, clarity, and grounded guidance you’ve been needing.
Imagine This
Imagine sitting down to write a post, record a short video, or update your website and feeling calm, clear, and connected to your message instead of overwhelmed or anxious. Imagine knowing exactly how to describe your work — not in vague clinical terms, but in language that feels warm, human, and immediately resonant for the clients you most want to attract.
Imagine having a consistent presence online or in your community that doesn’t burn you out or take over your life. A presence that feels like an extension of your therapeutic voice instead of a performance.
Imagine watching aligned clients reach out because something in your messaging made them feel seen, understood, and safe. They already feel connected to your tone, your clarity, and your way of working before they walk into the room.
Imagine feeling at ease with being visible. Not pressured, not performative — just grounded and steady as you share your work in a way that feels natural and sustainable.
And imagine building a practice that grows not because you forced yourself into someone else’s strategy, but because you finally found a way to show up that honors who you are, how you work, and what you bring to the clients you serve.
That is what Marketing That Feels Authentic makes possible.

Are We a Good Fit?
Marketing That Feels Authentic is a perfect fit if you’ve been trying to grow your practice but keep feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about how to talk about your work. It’s designed for therapists who want to attract aligned clients, build consistent visibility, and develop a stronger presence without compromising ethics or authenticity.
It’s right for you if you’re tired of overthinking every post, hesitating every time you think about visibility, or feeling like you’re supposed to become someone louder, bolder, or more performative just to get clients. This course is made for therapists who want a grounded, sustainable, values-driven approach to showing up—one that honors their sensitivity, their ethics, and their clinical voice.
If you want to understand how clients actually choose a therapist, how to communicate your work cleanly and clearly, and how to stay regulated while being visible, you’ll feel deeply supported here. You don’t need to force yourself into unnatural strategies or push through discomfort alone. You just need a clear path and a therapist-aligned way to communicate your work.
If you’re ready for a more grounded, confident, and aligned approach to marketing, this is your next step.
Why This Works
Marketing That Feels Authentic works because it’s designed specifically for therapists—not influencers, entrepreneurs, or marketers. It respects the clinical training, the emotional labor, and the sensitive nervous systems that shape the way therapists show up in the world.
This system works because it reframes marketing as an extension of your therapeutic presence rather than a separate, performance-based role. Instead of memorizing tactics or scripts, you learn to communicate from your own regulated, grounded state — which naturally draws aligned clients toward you.
It also works because it teaches both sides of marketing: the practical steps and the emotional reality. Visibility brings up vulnerability, doubt, and internal resistance for most clinicians. This course helps you move through those barriers with clarity, structure, and compassion, so you don’t get stuck in avoidance or freeze.
And it works because it’s sustainable. Once you understand how to speak from your authentic voice, you can carry that skill throughout your entire career — in your website, your content, your community presence, and your client connections. This is a foundation you can keep building on, no matter how your practice evolves.
ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
I’m Lisa Reidsema, LMHC—a therapist, author, and practice owner who built a thriving private practice without ever relying on tactics that felt salesy, performative, or out of alignment with who I am.
For years, I tried to market my practice the way “experts” told me to, and every strategy felt wrong. It wasn’t until I stopped trying to sound like other people and started speaking from my values and my clinical voice that everything changed. Clients began finding me because my message finally felt like me.
Now I teach other therapists how to market their work in a way that feels grounded, ethical, and deeply authentic—no gimmicks, no manipulation, and no pressure to become someone you’re not.
If you’ve ever felt like marketing was the hardest part of being in private practice, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out the hard way. I’m here to help you find your voice, your confidence, and your own authentic way of reaching the clients who need you.
